I was just wondering how you managed to hear that, but since there is only one person I can think of that was on the phone at the exact time it busted arse....
mystery solved.
It's not back on the road, it was on the back of a truck !! The APRS works independent of the wheels turning.
It's well and truely fvcked. Apart from the 150K service, the dealer being flat stick with work and the clutch chucking it in (which is apparently a common problem - this is the third this month).
It was bogged, at first only minor. But I had lots of time to make it worse before I dragged it out backwards.
It won't be back on the road for at least a week.
It'll take that long at least to fix the clutch.
