Good mate, life is pretty rosey at present. Been keeping my head down renovating the new place and getting some exercise. Been a while since I picked up a microphone but I have a bit of a listen when I'm doing something in the garage.

Also I remember we ran into you at the beer garden (BBBBBUUUUUURRRP!) & because I had spent all my money on radio doodads you gave my son $5 to buy a drink, I still owe you one for that matey!

Mmmmm Maybe??? we'll have to see, I am not slotted to have my kids that weekend..... but don't know for sure what we will be doing, the 1st & last Wyong I went to was when my eldest boy now 12 yr old was about 2 & he loved it! if there was a box of bits in front of the tables he would go through the box & pick out wires & gizmo's

I really should see if I can take my eldest son there, he is starting to show an interest in electronics, I gave him a 130 in 1 project kit at Xmas & he was blown away! he is doing electronics in school when he starts high school this year, so i should encourage him 

It will really pi** off the ex witch when he starts pulling apart the TV to see how it works

Is it true that ACMA has taken off air the repeaters that have been over-inhabited by rat bags? about time I reckon!

no but the biggest trouble makers (ratbags) are the owners of the repeaters being SYD01 and SYD07 and the band of thug mates,

Mary and crackle and chesty control the syd07 repeater and the people that use it.

my guess he will do what he did last year he said he would bash me and instead of him bashing me he sent his pet Mary burger chewbacker to try and be tough at me and all i did when i noticed that the thing in front of me wasn't a man as it looked like an unwashed man, when it spoke i realised it was Mary chewbacker burger. ha ha and i laughed my ass off it was so funny.

Well lenny over here in merrylands across the road form the pub that owns syd01, still hasnt got a new site for his repeater and it hasnt idented in a long time.

so my guess is its not looking good for lenny.

I had been listening to SYD01 for a few months, and although I had a FEW decent contacts with people, 99.99% of the time, the repeater was:

 a) totally un-useable due to people transmitting music, or dead air
 b) full of swearing, abuse, racist and hatefull comments
 c) had people talking over people, usually using higher-wattage equipment to "get over" the other person.

Its sad in a way to see the repeater go, as it WAS usefulll when it wasnt being used by people who abused the privillage, But I can deffinetly see why the ACMA acted - if only to set an example to others thinking of doing the same thing and thinking they wont get caught.

Im currently considering getting licencened and using the HAM repeaters in Sydney. Im told that they are alot cleaner, and people actually work together to make a great repeater system, rather than making it a competition to see who can slag off the current owner, and the way the repeater operates, the most.

I often heard on the air that the swearing and slagging off was "the way CB radio is". I totally disagree with that comment, and believe that CB radio IS what people MAKE it.

I hope we can all learn from this lesson.

the ACMA are investigating Mary Burger and the SYD01 owner Len about there Illegally running a SYD01 repeater with out proper Permission IE not on an legal site approved by the ACMA, they think that the ACMA don't know about them doing this well Burger your wrong they know.

Word is it that SYD01 is down for the count in Hurstville, its been said that ACMA has been sent many complaints about how the repeater has been contrioled, also Hurstville council also had there finger in the pie to have the repeater removed from its site.

Best news i have head this month, so now all the Sydney repeaters are off line(out of service)

Its also been said that the ACMA warned the owner Lenny and his as much loser mates, Craig Sinclair, Mary burger, Liam, Craig Campbell, to clean up there act and remove the illegal equipment attached to the SYD01 repeater, so they didn't listen to the warning and the ACMA i think has shut them down.

Now this is the best news, Hurstville Council have got in touch with the realestate and they got in contract with the people in charge of the building the repeater was on, and they told Lenny and the loser crew they have to remove all the equipment off of there building and to never darken there doors ever again.

Goes to show you how easy it is to control and idiot like Lenny Maryland's into getting hold of the repeater license and thats as easy as giving bananas to a monkey to push a red button, and it shows when the loser crew got hold of the repeater how they only had plans to be in control and to control the people that use it, it has back fired on them, they lost the site at pennut hills with metro told them to Piss off, and now so has Hurtville council.

You will now find were ever they go from now on all some one has to do is complain to the local council and tell them to get in contact with Hurstville council and you will find they will be told to piss off again so they will own a repeater license and have no repeater.

The SYD01 repeater was taken down today.
