The following Models of radio are user upgradable when containing the correct serial number prefix
TX3100, TX3340, TX3500, TX3510, TX3520, TX3540, TX4400, TX4600*

*Serial number prefixes apply to the TX4600 only
User upgradable instructions
1.Select Channel 7
2.Switch the radio 'Off' then 'ON' again
3.Select Channel 23
4.Switch the radio 'Off' then 'ON' again
5.Select Channel 39
6.Switch the radio 'Off' then 'ON' again
7.Select Channel 15
8.Switch the radio 'Off' then 'ON' again
9.Select Channel 31
10.Switch the radio 'Off' then 'ON' again
Unit should display channel 80 if successful, if unsuccessful try again from step one
