Today I have here a used
Kenwood TK-880 Mobile. This physically complete unit is to be in good shape. It is a trunking mobile with talk around and scan capabilities.
It comes with a microphone and mounting bracket, this unit works well, as I have been transmitting successfully using this TK-880 for the last 2+ years.
I have recently updated my shack.
This is a high end UHF mobile that will support the 450 - 490 MHz ranges.
The LCD is clear and the unit powers up and detects a microphone. This TK-880 has been programmed for the 40 channels UHF CB including 8 Repeater Channels.
It is currently transmitiing at 5 Watts but can transmit upto 25 Watts.This radio is capable of being programmed to the
NEW 80 channel configuration. Also this radio can be programmed to receive some emergency and other frequencies, that are not encrypted.
Will program radio for an additional $30 if needed. Or throw in software if required.
