For anyone who travels to the South East having the radio in duplex mode on channel 7 provides widespread coverage from Warrnambool Victoria right down to Beachport.... the repeater itself is located just outside of Mount Gambier on top of the Bluff exact same location as the 2 metre amateur radio repeater and Forestry SA fire tower are
I know it sounds abit far fetched that Warrnambool is mentioned but surprisingly i tend to often get stations coming in on the Mount Gambier repeater channel crystal clear and have even spoken to someone in Warrnambool a couple of times without the signal fading in and out
