What he has done is illegal and also voided the warranty of that good UHF radio if he wanted to talk on other channels it would have been easier to get a UHF handheld of which is capable of doing that

i heard a guy say that he has had something done to his uniden uh89sx so he can transmit on the recieveonly user program channels
does anybody know anything about this
