some people using it for commercial use are being charged for a private frequency and don't even know they are on CB as they put them on sub tones or digital sub tones
What can i say but just that

The Radcom Act is the law which governs Radiocommunications in Australia.

You won't find any loopholes in the law with regards to CB and commercial use as it is licenced for everybody to use.
The commercial operators treat a channel as if it is theirs and the Cbers treat the whole band as if it is theres. I don't see a difference in attitude.
Some small operators just can't afford the huge licence and support fees charged for a private channel.

I can go on and put cases for both sides, I'm pretty neutral on the subject.
But if you want to sink to lower depths, then you might care to ask some questions in private about tactics which of couse leeds on to how much money you're prepared to spend on using those tactics to achieve a definable result.

the thing is since ACMA as we know it today hold the blanket licence for UHF and HF CB its allowed people to use the CB bands for work use there is no law stopping them.

Most comm companies for many years have been programing people on UHF CB using sub tones thinking they are paying for a private frequency.

The ACMA spend more money on change of name and stationary every few years, and they don't give a rats arse about CB unless you are caucusing TVI or you are jamming a repeater.

They seem to think that having a licences for CB isn't worth it, but if you look at the cost of change of name and all the stationary combind they wast 100.000s of $ every time they do it.

And to make matters worse they now upped the fee for having a Ham license.

i think its a wast of tax payers $ having the ACMA as they do sweet F**k all. you know you make allot of money being an Radio inspector doing Sweet F**k all they than being on the dole as they do SWEET F**k all.
What can i say but just that

Hi All
Some companies have ear marked some CB channels as their own private channel.
I am sure this is not correct and have been loking for the relevant web site documenting the legislation any ideas I cant find it.
Thanks
Chris
