Unfortunately we don't have any active Monitors down that way at present, but there was an enquiry recently from someone asking about the interference to SYD05 from the nearby Police transmitter. Perhaps that is part of the problem?

Always looking for people to become Monitors so if any of the Sydneyites are interested, you know where to find us...

Unfortunately, the channel 5 emergency repeater is a joke in Sydney, with the constant key ups, and the truckies that "drop down a few from 40". I do remember a blue mountains monitor on SYD05 at one stage, but who knows what's happened to them?

The data could be from a nearby transmitter at the adventist hopsital?
Anyone else noticed that google has hit the ACMA database lately, just chuck in the callsign of the transmitter and it's the first result...

Cheers

Is it me or has anyone else notice the data being sent on the SYD05 emergency repeater. as far as i know there should not be any data being sent on it.

its strong during the day and not so of a night time.

At the moment my 5 watt FM92 that is deaf cant hear it on the input but i will borrow a radio that has a good Rx see if it can here it on the input.

i have been told this has been going on for a few weeks, why hasn't the ACMA jumped on it?.
What can i say but just that
